Brightest of the ultra portable class at
4,500 lumens, and high contrast ratio of
1000:1
The PLC-XU116 delivers true XGA
resolution at 4500 ANSI lumens and it’s
about the size of a laptop – only 7.9
pounds. When it comes to versatility,
there’s a go-anywhere (ceiling mount
access points) capability to this
projector. One big reason is because it
uses a X1.6 zoom lens. A lens like this
can throw a crisp, bright 100” diagonal
image from distance
of only 7.9 feet.
Thanks to adopting an inorganic LCD
panel for the optical engine, brightness
and contrast ratio combine to enable a
bright, big-screen projection with a
high quality image.
The Corner Keystone Correction Function
eliminates the trapezoidal image
distortion that is caused by projection
at an angle. This function is based on
vertical and horizontal keystone
correction technology, allowing more
flexibility in your set-up.
The great thing here is that the
PLC-XU116 has networking capability.
It’s equipped with SANYO’s exclusive PJ
Network Interface for wired and wireless
networking. Networking allows the
monitoring of projector functions and
operation from a long distance via a web
browser. Emails can be sent
automatically to report operating
status.
Also PLC-XU116 has the latest wireless
technology which allows high-speed
802.11n. If wireless is difficult for
you to set-up then there is another way
to connect to your projector. The
PLC-XU116 has simple wireless setting
via USB memory. By inserting the USB
memory and starting up the capture
program, you can connect with just a
simple click.
Also, Connecting to a PC with the USB
cable enables the projector to generate
both image and audio output. No need to
use two cables for image and audio
separately.
The Memory Viewer function provides a
presentation without using a computer or
some other external equipment.
By using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup),
the communication via ESSID and WPA2
security type between the Wireless LAN
access point and the projector can be
configured without complicated set-up
procedures.
